After a perfect and seamless flight from Denver to New York this morning, Andrea took a moment to relax and share some of her thoughts regarding the next few days…
Most clearly, she is absolutey thilled and also quite humbled by being selected to represent Krastase Paris backstage at Fashion Week, and is more than ready to show them some incredible hair. I am very impressed by her level of preparedness for this venture…this woman has left nothing to chance and she is more than ready to rock some hair.
Sure, Andrea is a little anxious (and who wouldn’t be?)…..but she feels more than ready to work in the realm of fashion shows and creative stage work that she’s always aspired to . She feels that she has basically put that energy out into the world, and is being rewarded by working in the niche she’s always wanted. Anxiety notwithstanding, Andrea believes that as soon as she gets set up backstage and starts working with those first models, she’ll be in her element and ready to do the brilliant hair that she is so capable of. She’s ready for the “controlled chaos” of backstage work at any big fashion show of this scale!
Another aspect of her excitement involves the ability to return to Denver with this experience under her belt. She is a fantastic educator, and it will mean the world to her to be able to share her stories, challenges and triumphs with all the members of the Luxe team. This is the type of event that brings fresh new energy into Luxe Salon, and the entire team supports Andrea in this endeavor!
Lastly, Andrea stresses that she feels like a new person in the hair industry, even after so many years. She is reinspired, remotivated….and ready to rock and roll tomorrow morning.
