I went to Vail this weekend to celebrate Spring Fest, the final weekend of the season. If you’ve never participated in this phenomenon, I highly recommend the experience. It’s a blast.
As I stood in a lift line, I spied many ponytails, pigtails and even Pippi Longstocking braids, all with one thing in common, dry, split ends. The Colorado curse, because of our incredibly dry climate! So, this is the question, to cut or not to cut? And how often?
Everyone wants beautiful, healthy hair, whether it be short, long or in between. In order to ensure this, we must callously snip off hair that is damaged, even if it means sacrificing a few inches sometimes. Regular trimming of hair ensures that damaged hair is removed and this in turn guarantees growth. Aim for trims every 6-8 weeks, condition and protect with quality products, and enjoy this beautiful Colorado spring!
